The third best-selling VW in the UK, the Tiguan is moving up a segment to take on more prestigious rivals. As a result, standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen system and city emergency braking.
The Tiguan comes in four trim levels; the S, Match, SEL and R-Line Tech. The S, in addition to the standard equipment, also includes VW’s latest safety features, such as pedestrian protection.
The Match offers 19-inch alloys, parking sensors and a rearview camera. The SEL adds a panoramic sunroof and massage seats in a more luxury-focused trim.
The range-topping R-Line comes with a special body kit that includes front and rear bumpers for an imposing look. The trim also offers 20-inch alloys and ‘Area View’ technology.
There is a range of petrol and diesel engines available – 32 choices, in all! The petrol engines offer plenty of speed and performance for city and motorway driving. If you are looking to go more off-road, the diesels provide excellent performance and fuel economy.
